They've never bloomed - at least not when I was home. I'm watering them while I'm here, but will be gone for another two months after next week. Maybe a little fertilizer would help, too...
Sherry, precioussssssss, in the entire Lord of the Rings saga, I can think of only one character who's bald.
I've got one of those cactus thingees. Early last summer it produced over eight weeks about sixty orange scarlet flowers. In the first rush there thirty two. It looked as if it was on fire. I agree they certainly can cope with neglect but do much better with a little attention.
