Two of my children Matt then 25 & Alice 21 travelled in Burma for a month five years ago. They loved the country, the people and especially their "native" honesty and charm. What has happened there is horrific and I hear this morning that the death toll is likely to be 100,000 with secondary tragedies caused by illness and disease. It's hard to imagine a regime so heartless & cynical that it believes its best interests lie in preventing or delaying outside aid.
May God help them and bless them.
