Oh my, ha ha, I giggled till there were tears in my eyes over that cartoon! Thank you for posting it, that was great lol.
Reminds me of a classic Native American story retold by Frank White in one of his books.
White man hiking in desert sees old Indian man working on his fence. The white man has seen rattlesnakes around, so he asks the old man, "Aren't you afraid of the snakes?" The old man replies, "Son, the snakes are not to be feared, they are part of holy nature and mother earth, and are our friends." Impressed, the white man continues with his walk.
Coming back some hours later he's shocked to see a pile of dead rattlesnakes by the old Indian man, who is calmly working on the fence. The man says, "I thought you said the snakes are our friends!"
The old man replies, "Son, a man can have TOO many friends!"
Snakes were better off with St. Patrick ha ha.
